Everyone attending the Mighty Hoopla Weekender will need to show one of the following:

Proof of full vaccination

Both doses received at least 14 days prior to Friday 28 January. It must be shown via either:

– NHS COVID pass on the NHS app (England)

– Vaccination status letter or NHS Scotland COVID app (Scotland)

– Welsh NHS COVID Pass (Wales)

– COVIDcert NI app (Northern Ireland)

– EU COVID certificate (Europe)

– Vaccination letter – visit NHS.co.uk for more information of how to get your letter

Please note your paper vaccination card will not be accepted.

Proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test 

The test needs to be taken on the day of arrival at the resort (Friday 28 January) before you travel. A test result taken any earlier than Friday 28 January will not be accepted.

This can be reported and demonstrated via:

– Your NHS COVID Pass on the NHS app, or a text message or email from NHS confirming this information.

Please note: If you have opted to use a negative Lateral Flow Test (LFT) as proof, this option is only valid for 48hrs as per government guidelines. To ensure you can access our venues from Sunday you will be required to test again anytime from 10am Saturday and your negative test can be demonstrated as above via NHS App, text message or email.

A random selection of guests will be asked to show evidence on the Sunday before entering our venues.If you need lateral flow tests, they can be ordered from the below link.

We will also be advising all our staff and performers to take a Lateral Flow Test in the days leading up to the Mighty Hoopla Weekender. We would like to suggest that anyone attending the event does the same too, to keep everyone as safe as possible. In addition, enhanced cleaning measures are in place across every touch point across all venues and the Butlin’s team will be carrying out cleaning between all shows and events. 


Due to the ongoing pandemic, we are allowing name transfers on all tickets. This means you can transfer your ticket to a friend, should you not be able to come. Please contact [email protected] to do this.

If you are unable to transfer your ticket to a friend we will happily roll your ticket over to our 2023 Weekender, free of charge until 10am on the 20th January. Please note that bookings cannot be amended or moved after this time without a positive PCR test result.

If you test positive for COVID or have received an isolation request from NHS Track & Trace, we can offer individual ticket refunds, minus your deposit, to cover the cost of the room. The rest of your party’s tickets and your room booking will still be valid.

If you want a room refund because your friends also have a positive COVID test result or isolation request from NHS track & trace, we can refund the booking minus the deposit, to cover the cost of the room.


If you do test positive for COVID, we will need a valid NHS PCR test result (not a lateral flow test result) or proof of a track & trace isolation request from the NHS.You can book a free NHS PCR test here: https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test

Please note we cannot accept an image of a lateral flow test result as proof that you have COVID, it must be PCR test (booked using the link above).
