ACCESS REQUEST DEADLINE – 22nd DECEMBER 2023

Customers with access requirements are welcome at Mighty Hoopla Big Weekender. We offer complimentary PA tickets and other facilities to make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible! Please see our step by step guide below:

 

HOW TO BOOK ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES:

  1. If you need an accessible room please do not make a booking as the adapted rooms are not available in the booking flow, a member of the access team will send you a special link to complete your booking.

 

  1. If you don’t require an adapted room please make your booking first. When applying for a PA ticket please do not book and pay for this, it will be added to your booking if your application is successful.

 

  1. Complete this form. Please include your valid booking reference (MHB number) and submit your supporting evidence in this form.
    Once submitted, we will endeavour to respond within 5 working days to confirm the status of your request.

 

  1. If your request has been accepted, you will receive a confirmation email from the Access Team.

 

Submitting Proof Of Documentation:

The following documentation will make you automatically eligible for a PA ticket/Accessible Accommodation booking:

  • Front page of DLA / PIP letter
  • Front page of Attendance Allowance letter
  • Evidence that registered severely sight impaired (blind)
  • Recognised Assistance Dog ID card
  • Credability’s Access Card showing you require a +1/+2 to accompany you.

Please note that we do recognise that not everybody may have the above supporting documentation but still may require use of access facilities. If this is you, please contact our team before the deadline who will be able to advise.

 

After Deadline Requests

To be approved for the access facilities at Mighty Hoopla Big Weekender you must complete our Access Requests Form before the advertised deadline at the top of the page.

We have a deadline to ensure that we have adequate facilities and that we are appropriately staffed based on the number of customers that we are expecting.

If you do purchase your ticket beyond the deadline please contact our team at [email protected]. They will process your request if it is within the event capacity to. If they are unable to process your request they will issue a full refund.

 

On Site Facilities 

Butlins Bognor Regis has many accessible facilities across their site, listed below. We have also implemented some additional procedures to support our access customers as best we can!

 

Blue Badge Parking

Please note, there is no specific car park entrance for Blue Badge holders. 

There are disabled parking bays across the resort, please just display your Blue Badge as normal as well as your Mighty Hoopla parking permit. 

Parking permits must be reserved in advance to ensure you have a space. Please book this via the access request form

 

Accessible Toilets 

Every venue and restaurant on site at Butlins has accessible toilets. Please look out for the accessible toilet signage which should be clearly visible.

 

Lowered Bars 

Lowered bars are available at the following venues –

  • Reds
  • Centre Stage 

 

Wheelchair ramps 

Wheelchair accessible ramps are located all across the site. Lift access is available for entry to Centre Stage. 

 

Accessible Accommodation 

Butlins offers a number of accessible rooms/apartments to facilitate your specific needs.

Accessible Priority Areas

  • Access Priority Seating 

 

There will be reserved accessible seating areas at the following venues. 

  • Skyline Pavilion
  • Rosso Lounge 
  • Centre Stage 
  • Reds
  • Access Priority Serving at Bars

We will also have an access priority serving area at all bars on site besides the Costa bar in the Skyline Pavilion. Please look out for the ‘Access Priority Area’ boards above the bar/stickers on the bar top. 

 

Queue Jump

You and your personal assistant will be able to queue jump into venues by showing security/entrance staff your access wristband/PA lanyard.

*Please note, if a venue has reached capacity you will still be required to queue until space inside opens up.*

 

Lights 

Due to the nature of the event, flashing lights and strobe lights may be in operation on all stages. Lasers may be used in some performances.
