Introducing Brown Excellence, the dynamic duo breaking boundaries between Bhangra/Bollywood and UK Bass music. Put simply, their sets exhibit the ‘sounds of their skin mixed with the sounds of their soul’ effortlessly blending everything between Syrian maqam melodies to classic Bollywood bangers with bumpin’ ghetto-tech and raw percussive techno. Zain Shah and Rishi Bagdai began the exploration of their cultural enlightenment in the summer of 2020 and, since then, have sold out nearly every show they’ve hosted across Bristol and London, the pinnacle of which being a full-house advance sell out of the infamous Thekla, Bristol – as well as iconic Boomtown and HÖR performances.
